고령화사회에서 고령여성들의 경제활동 참여 요구가 크나, 직업능력개발의 기회는 매우 부족하다. 이에 본 연구는 고령층 여성들의 직업교육훈련 요구를 분석하여 향후 정책개선의 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이 연구를 위해 관련 연구와 직업교육훈련에 참여하고 있는 50대 이상 여성들을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과를 분석하였다. 분석결과 50대 이상 여성들은 일을 하고자 하는 의사는 강하나, 직업훈련참여율은 매우 낮다. 직업역량이 부족하여 훈련의 필요성이 크나, 전문직업훈련기관에서의 훈련참여기회가 부족하다. 훈련과정이나 취업정보 취득시 공적 기관이나 온라인 정보 활용율이 매우 낮아 대면 서비스가 필요하며, 교통편의, 훈련비 지원, 훈련시간대와 기간의 다양화, 훈련과정 확대에 대한 요구가 있다. 취업장애 요인으로 연령문제를 가장 심각한 것으로 인식하고 있어 고령자 훈련과 취업에 대한 인식 변화가 요구된다.
In aging society, older women also want to participate economic activities continuously. However, they did not have enough opportunities to develop their vocational abilities. This study aims to analyze the training needs of older women and suggest policy tasks to develop their employability. For this study, vocational training needs of older women trainee over 50 were analyzed. The result of this research shows that older women have low level of vocational capacities despite of their strong employment needs. Therefore, they need more opportunities to participate diverse training programs in professional training facilities. They need personal counseling service because they tend to depend on private network instead of official and on-line information service. They need transportation service, reduction and exemption of training expense, and more flexible training schedules etc. Also, alleviation of age discrimination in the labour market and consciousness change on older people`s employment and training are needed.
