본 글은 기존의 일과 학습의 논의가 주로 노동시장과 일터 조직을 중심으로 전개되어 왔음을 밝히고 있다. 또한 이들 논의가 근거하고 있는 학습자 상은 일과 학습의 논의를 `교육론`으로 발전시키는 데 일정 부분 제한한 측면이 있었음을 지적하고 있다. 본 글에서는 이와 같은 제한점을 보완하여 일과 학습의 논의를 재구조화할 수 있는 가능성을 탐색하고자, 평생교육론의 관점에 기초한 개념을 구안하였다. 본 글에서 제안하고 있는 `생산적 활동 학습`은 학습자의 생산 경험을 통해 학습자와 세계가 공진화(共進化)하는 모습을 드러내는 데 적합한 념이다. `생산적 활동 학습`은 학습이 추구되는 동인으로서 학습자의 생산에 대한 목적의식, 학습양태로서 외화와 자기화의 선순환적 통합, 학습결과로서 생산능력과 생산조건구성력 획득 등을 구성요소로 삼고 있는 학습으로 규정된다. 이의 개념 구안은 평생직업교육의 논의를 재구축하는 데 시사점을 제공하고 있다.
This study focuses on the learning aspect of work and provides a new theoretical frame helping to construct new vision and insight on the relation of work and learning. The new theoretical frame for work and learning is developed based on the concept of `productive activity learning`. The `productive activity learning` stresses the learning function of productive activity that is a main type of activities in sphere of work, and includes a concurrent change of the subject, the object and it`s world through a production experience. The term of `productive activity learning` emphasize learner centered paradigm and revels new aspect of work and learning relation, contributing toward the re-conceptualization of vocational education.
