이 연구의 목적은 기술교육에서 학생들의 기술적 창조성을 길러주기 위한 교육 환경을 탐색하는 것이다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 창조적인 작업환경과 창조적인 교육환경 그리고 창조적인 기술교육 환경, 기술의 과정과 기술적 창조성과의 관련성을 토대로 문헌연구를 수행하였다. 문헌 분석을 토대로 학생들의 기술적 창조성 향상을 위한 교육환경 요소를 탐색한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창조성 계발과 관련된 요인 탐색을 통하여 학생들의 창조성 발현에 영향을 주는 요소를 개인적 특성과 환경적 특성으로 이원화하여 구분하였다. 둘째, 학생들의 창조성에 영향을 미치는 개인적 특성에는 지적 요소, 인성 요소, 동기 요소를 포함하였으며, 학생들의 창조성에 영향을 미치는 환경적 특성에는 학습의 요소, 심리적 요소, 물리적 요소, 사회적 요소를 포함하였다. 셋째, 개인적 특성에서 지적 요소는 개인의 창조적인 능력을 의미하며, 인성 요소는 창조적인 성향을, 그리고 동기 요소에는 내적인 동기와 외적인 동기를 포함하였다. 교육은 이러한 학생들의 내적인 요소를 이끌어낼 수 있는 교육적 환경을 마련해주어야 한다. 넷째, 창조성과 관련된 환경적 특성은 학생들의 창조성 발현에 영향을 주는 외적 자극이다. 학습의 요소는 기술 영역의 특성을 반영한 교육의 핵심이다. 심리적 요소에는 학습 분위기와 교사의 행위를 포함하였으며, 물리적 요소에는 실습공간과 자원 그리고 사회적 요소에는 학교나 행정기관의 지원을 포함하였다. 다섯째, 이 연구 결과를 기초로 교육현장에서 학생들의 내적인 요소들을 이끌어낼 수 있는 외적인 환경을 어떻게 하면 보다 효과적으로 제조직하여 제공할 수 있는지에 관한 실증적인 연구가 요구된다.
The purpose of this study is to inquire factors of educational environment for technological creativity of students in technology education. Improving technological creativity of students is one of the most essential and valuable goals of technology education because technology is in essence a manifestation of human creativity. This study was conducted through reviewing literature. The contents of reviewing literature were the work environment for creativity, the education environment for creativity, and relationship between the nature of technology and creativity. The major conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. Factors influencing on developing creativity of students were divided according to individual qualities and environmental qualities. 2. Individual qualities were included intellectual, personal, and motivation factors. And environmental qualities were included learning factors and situational, physical, institutional factors. 3. Educational environments have to drive internal factors of students such as creative ability, creative personality, intrinsic Motivation and extrinsic. 4. Environmental qualities on having creativity are external stimulation influencing on improving creativity of students. Learning factors is the heart of a school education. Psychological factors included climate of learning and behavior of teacher and physical factors included work·shop for technology education and resources, and social factors included support of school and administration. These findings of this study are expected to be usefully apply the basic materials to technology education.
