본 연구는 대학생들이 진로 미결정 상황을 벗어나 자신의 적성과 흥미에 적합한 ``최적의 직업``을 선택하여 준비할 수 있도록 도와주는 진로지도체제 구축을 위하여 대학생이 어느 정도, 어떻게 진로를 준비하고 있으며, 어떤 직업의식을 갖고 있는지 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구목적 달성을 위해 대학생 진로발달 특성과 직업의식에 관한 문헌을 고찰하고, 지방 소재 대학 재학생 중 ``직업과 진로`` 수강생 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 대학생의 효과적인 진로지도 프로그램 개발 및 지원 체제를 구축하기 위해 필요한 다음과 같은 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 진로지도 프로그램은 대학생의 특성(학년 및 성별 등)을 반영하여 개발·운영해야 한다. 둘째, 대학생의 발달적 미결정 상태와 지속적·만성적 미결정 상태를 진단하여, 진단 결과에 따른 맞춤형 진로 지도 프로그램을 운영해야 한다. 셋째, 효과적으로 진로지도 프로그램을 운영하기 위해 친구 선배 등을 mentor로 활용하거나, 친구나 선배가 활용할 수 있는 진로정보 책자를 개발하여 제공하고, 관련 분야에서 성공한 인물의 사례집을 발간하여 이를 보급하는 등의 지원 체제가 구축되어야 한다. 넷째, 학과 교수가 수업 시간에 관련 분야의 진로 정보를 제공하고나 진로 지도를 할 수 있도록 도와주는 교재를 개발하여 보급하는 것이 필요하다. 다섯째, 구체적으로 진로를 결정하지 못하고, 결혼과 함께 직장을 그만두겠다는 여학생의 응답이 비교적 많은 상황에서 이러한 현상의 원인을 파악하는 연구가 필요하다. 여섯째, 주기적으로 대학생의 직업의식을 파악하고, 그 결과를 DB화하여 대학생의 특성에 적합한 맞춤형 진로지도 프로그램을 수정·보완해야 한다.
The purpose of this study was to understand what university students have and how they prepare toward their future course to make career guidance system that help them choose their best job. We referred to the literature on the stage of the development of university students as well as their Vocational consciousness in order to achieve our goal. In addition, we surveyed 500 students who go to a regional university, attending lecture on ``occupation and course`` The major findings in this study are as follows: The career guidance program should be developed and operated after considering what their features are. Examine the developmental, continuous and chronic indecision state of the students, and then career guidance program should be run by those results. The supporting system should be constructed to run a effective career guidance program. For example, using colleagues as mentor is good way to run this program effectively. Develop a text that can help professors who provide a career information to the students and popularize it to the students. We need a research to understand why a lot of women who have a job stop working after getting married. We have to examine vocational consciousness of the university students regularly, and make the results based on the examination databases. At last, we need a modifying and complement of the career guidance programs for the university students by using the databases.
