The purpose of this study was to investigate the student perception of existing project instructional approaches and to suggest their improvements from the viewpoint of technical college students. For this purpose, questionnaire method was used to the students who take the course based on the project instructional approaches in a technical junior college located in Chungcheangnam-dong province. The response of 188 students were analyzed. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, many of the students had problems to find the learning method of project instructional approaches. They thought that the project courses were not easy to learn. Second, they pointer out the shortage of project based textbooks, information and tools for planning and designing their projects. Third, most of the students carried out their project survey on the outside of classroom. such as home, dormitory and charged computer room, using internet.
