The purpose of this study was to develop alternatives of organizing related laws for articulation programs between vocational high schools and junior colleges in Korea. The study was conducted through reviewing available literatures, analyzing current acts related to articulation education both in Korea and foreign countries, especially Tech Prep education in the U.S., and getting ideas from the expert panel. Based on the researches on the current situations, problems, and examples in Tech Prep education, following alternatives are made: First, among the acts related to articulation programs, it is necessary to revise the Act for Elementary·Secondary Education, the Act for Higher Education, the Promoting Act for Vocational Education and Training, the Promoting Act for Industrial Education, which were legislated under the Ministry of Education and HRD. Secondly, it is necessary to enact a new act, which promotes articulation program. This act supports the system that makes it possible to carry out efficient articulation program. The newly proposed act consisted of six chapters and nineteen articles.
