This research aims to develop an performance-oriented and integrated curriculum that is strongly connected with business strategies, fully considers the educational needs of the current businesses, and is applicable to the current businesses. Its specific objective is to examine competencies needed to develop the curriculum, to develop the curricula of four domains based on them, and to suggest effective operational measures for these curricula. To accomplish these, the study investigated related literature and materials, including benchmarking of advanced enterprises within and outside of Korea, and conducted workshops and interviews with field professionals. The highlights of the investigation are as follows: 1) Processes for developing a curriculum were developed after combining the approach based on job analysis and the approach based on competency. 2) Suggested points that are important to forming a curriculum after conducting benchmarking in relation to a curriculum of advanced enterprises within and outside Korea. 3) Examined competencies required to develop the curriculum according to the process for drawing out them. 4) Formed the curricula for four domains (leadership curriculum, professional curriculum, organizational culture change curriculum, and globalization curriculum), arranged each group of competencies necessary for the four domains according to their developing steps, and designed systematic training courses to develop the necessary competencies. 5) Presented training methods and types related to the operation of training, as well as measures that are effective from the systems standpoint.
