The purpose of this study was to analyze the vocational high school students` opinions on their school life: how the students view their schooling in general, how they prepare their future, and how they feel about their problems and agonies. For this purpose, the researcher surveyed 450 vocational high school students who attend three technical high schools and two information and commercial high schools located in Gyeong-Nam Province through a questionnaire. The question: tire was composed of 23 multiple-choice type questions. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, vocational high school students` opinions on their schooling would be expressed, at large, as negative, gloomy, and unclear. This result was common regardless of their major area and academic achievement level. Second, although most of the vocational high school students worried about their school learning and future life after graduation, they did not make enough efforts to improve their present state. Third, the identity of the vocation, at high school education should be placed on vocation-oriented education, concerning the students` opinions on their school s strong points, such as acquisition of various licences and relatively easy employment.
