진로진학 컨설턴트의 개인배경과 전문성에 대한 인식이 직무만족 및 직무몰입에 주는 영향요인 분석

The Effects of the Private Career and Admission Consultant s Personal Backgrounds and perception of Professionalism on Job Satisfaction and Job Involvement

본 연구는 최근 진로진학 컨설팅사교육에 대한 사회적 관심과 시장 규모 확대에 따라 컨설팅사교육 영역에서 종사하는 진로진학 컨설턴트에 주목하였다. 이에 진로진학 컨설턴트의 전문성 인식, 직무만족, 직무몰입의 정도와 개인배경에 따른 차이를 알아보고 직무만족과 직무몰입에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하여 컨설팅사교육의 교육서비스 질과 효율성, 효과성 제고와 컨설팅사교육 비용 절감 방안을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 진로진학 컨설턴트 자격을 취득하고 컨설팅사교육 분야에서 종사하는 507명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로진학 컨설턴트의 직무몰입(3.96), 직무만족(3.81), 전문성 인식(3.61)은 보통 수준 이상인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로진학 컨설턴트 개인 배경에 따라 전문성 인식, 직무만족, 직무몰입의 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 진로진학 컨설턴트의 직무만족과 직무몰입에 일부 개인배경과 전문성 인식 요인이 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 진로진학 컨설턴트, 컨설팅사교육 기관, 정부가 각각 개인적, 조직적, 제도적 차원에서 노력해야 한다.

This study focused on the career and admission consultant, who is engaged in the field of private tutoring consultation as the social interest and market volume of the private tutoring consultation field on the career and admission have expanded recently. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the difference depending on the career and admission consultant s perception of professionalism, the degree of job satisfaction and job involvement, and the personal background and to identify the influencing factors on job satisfaction and job involvement. For this, the solutions were sought to increase the quality of educational services in private tutoring consultation, enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of private tutoring consultation, and reduce the cost of private tutoring consultation. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 507 people who were qualified as career and admission consultants and engaged in the field of private tutoring consultation, and the collected data was analyzed utilizing SPSS 21.0. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the level of professionalism awareness, job satisfaction, and job involvement of the career and admission consultant was shown as above the moderate level, in the order of job involvement(3.96), job satisfaction(3.81), and perception on professionalism(3.61). Second, according to the personal background of the career and admission consultant, the degree of the perception on professionalism, the job satisfaction, and the job involvement were revealed to be different. Third, the personal background and the perception on professionalism of the career and admission consultants were found to partly have an influence on job satisfaction and job involvement. Based on the results, it can be suggested that the career and admission consultant, the private tutoring consulting institution, and the government should respectively make individual, organizational, and institutional efforts.
