수업 중간평가를 통한 수업 내용 이해 및 만족도에 영향을 미치는 교수·학습 요인 탐색

Analysis of midterm course evaluation to investigate teaching and learning factors affecting understanding and satisfaction of the course

이 연구는 수업 중간평가 결과분석을 통해 나타난 수업 내용 이해와 수업 중간 만족도에 영향을 미치는 교수·학습요인을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구 참여자는 서울소재 A대학에서 교직교육과정을 수강하는 83명의 학생으로, 교직이론과목의 세 수업에서 실시한 수업 중간평가 자료를 수집하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 분석방법으로 단계적 입력 방식(stepwise)을 적용한 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 종속변인은 수업의 내용이해와 수업 중간 만족도이고, 독립변인은 교수 변인(4가지: 학습목표, 체계적인 수업진행, 명확한 내용 전달, 교수자와의 친밀감)과 학습 변인(2가지: 예습, 학습성찰을 통한 복습)이다. 분석 결과, 수업의 내용이해에는 ‘명확한 내용 전달, 학습성찰을 통한 복습, 학습목표 이해’세 가지가 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 수업에 대한 중간 만족도에는‘명확한 내용 전달, 학습성찰을 통한 복습, 체계적인 수업진행 및 교수자와의 친밀감’ 네 가지가 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 두 종속변인에 공통으로 영향을 미치는 변인은 ‘명확한 내용전달과 학습성찰을 통한 복습’이다. 수업 설계 및 운영 시 교수자의 명확한 내용 전달과 더불어 학습의 내면화를 위한 학습 촉진 활동이 함께 설계되고 수업운영에 반영되어야 함을 확인하였다.

This study is to investigate teaching and learning factors to improve course instruction by analyzing midterm course evaluation. For this study, the midterm course evaluation data from three pre-service teacher education courses were collected and analyzed. For analysis, multiple regression analysis with stepwise-method were performed. Two dependent variables are understanding contents and midterm course satisfaction. The independent variables are ‘awareness of learning goal, systematic class management, the luculent explanation of knowledge, friendly relationship with instructor, learning reflection note, and class preparation. As a result, understanding of contents was statistically significantly affected by the luculent explanation of knowledge, learning reflection note, and awareness of course goal. The midterm course satisfaction is statistically significantly affected by the luculent explanation of knowledge, learning reflection, systematic course management, and friendly relationship with the instructor. This result suggests that both the luculent explanation of knowledge by instructor and learning participation of students including tasks should be meaningfully considered to improve courses.
