The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility and value of the school cooperative based on art education and the educational meaning and value of art. The subject of the research is <Content Cartoonist>, an art curriculum-based school cooperative of S Middle School, and the methods of research are as follows. First, based on the literature survey on the establishment and operation status of domestic school cooperatives, the school cooperatives are classified by type and the actual conditions of operation are analyzed. Second, by analyzing the operation cases of the S middle school cooperative <Contents Cartoonist>, the necessity of the school cooperative based on the subject connection is examined, and furthermore, the artistic educational meaning and value of the school cooperative is explored. The results of this study are as follows: First, as of April 2018, there are 73 school cooperatives in the whole country, and according to the type, it can be divided into kiosks, caring business, sales of local specialties, complex cultural space, and employment related business. Of these, more than half of the school cooperatives in the form of kiosks. Second, <Content Cartoonists> of S middle school is a school cooperative based on art subject, which improves students aesthetic sensitivity and visual communication ability, communicates with society through art, and provides meaningful experiences related to life.
