There are various methods to teach students in a real instruction field. Among those, the project method in the vocational technical education is that develop students` independent spirit and responsibility and concentrate the knowledge and skill together. It is generally considered a means by which students can develop social practice and democratic behavior, and besides apply for a special task individually at the vocational spot and motivate for a learning. The specific objectives of this research were: ? to summarize the historical origin and concept of project method, ? to analysis developmental trend of project method in vocational technical education, ? to summarize the trend of project method in Korean vocational technical education. This study was conducted to analysis about the historical origin and developmental prospect of project method in vocational technical education and make the importance of project method recognize in Korean vocational technical educational situation.
