모바일금융 범죄피해경험이 범죄두려움에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Experience of Crime Victimization in Mobile Finance on the Fear of Crime - Mediation Effect of Crime Vulnerability Recognition and Moderated Mediation Effect of Mobile Device Reliability

본 연구는 금융서비스의 핵심수단으로 자리하고 있는 모바일금융환경에서의 범죄피해경험이 모바일금융범죄의 두려움에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 범죄취약성인식의 매개효과와 모바일기기 신뢰도의 조절효과를 실증적으로 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 모바일환경은 대면채널로 이루어진 기존의 금융환경에 비해 자유로운 시공간적 특수성을 가지고 있으므로 기존 대면 환경에서의 심리·인지 작용과 그 과정 및 결과가 다르게 나타날 가능성이 크기 때문에, 실증 연구를 통해 이를 검증할 필요성이 있다. 연구결과, 전통적 비대면 채널에서의 선행연구들과 달리 모바일금융 범죄피해경험은 모바일금융범죄두려움에 직접적으로 유의한 영향이 나타나지 않았고, 모바일금융 범죄취약성인식은 이를 정(+)적으로 완전매개하는 효과가 있었다. 또한, 모바일기기 신뢰도는 이 간접효과를 완화하는 부(-)적 효과가 있을 것이라는 가설과 달리, 이를 정(+)적으로 조절하는 효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 모바일금융 환경에서의 피해자와 범죄두려움 연구에 방향성을 제시하고자 하였으며, 그 안에서 실질적인 범죄두려움의 영향요인을 확인하고 두려움의 심리적·인지적 수준을 낮출 수 있는 방안을 모색한 것에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

This study aims to analyze the effect of experience of crime victimization in mobile finance on fear of crime through empirical study and to verify the mediation effect of crime vulnerability recognition and the moderated mediation effect of reliability of mobile device. Since the mobile environment has a freer time-space characteristic than the established financial environment which is face-to-face channel, there is a possibility that it is different from the psychological and cognitive process of face-to-face environment. So it is necessary to verify them through empirical research. The results of the study, unlike previous studies in traditional non-face-to-face channels, verify that experience of crime victimization in mobile financial is not a direct effect on the fear of crime. And it was confirmed that mobile crime vulnerability perception had completely mediated indirect effect on mobile crime fear. Also, reliability of mobile device has a positive moderated effect on this process, contrary to the hypothesis that it would have a negative effect. This study was intended to give direction to the study of victim and fear of crime in the mobile financial environment. In addition, the significance of this study can be found in the search for substantial factors of criminal fear and for ways to lower the psychological and cognitive level of fear
