The transesterification reaction of microalgae lipid in supercritical methanol has been studied in this work. The experiments were carried out at 20 ℃ interval between the reaction temperatures of 210 and 290 ℃ and at 15 minute interval between the reaction time 15 and 60 minutes. And the kinetic analysis method using the non-isothermal technique was proposed to determine the kinetic parameters for transesterification reaction of microalgae lipid in supercritical methanol. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of products obtained from this work were analyzed by gas chromatography mass spectrometry. Also, the response surface method was used to investigate for optimal condition of transesterification reaction of microalgae lipid in supercritical methanol.
