‘힘의 마주침’을 통해 드러난 유아의 존재의미

Significance of being for children manifested through forces of encounter

본 연구는 놀이상황을 통해 자신을 현시시키는 유아의 존재의미를 살펴보고자, 상황을 그자체로 존재론으로 이해한 Badiou의 이론을 통해 유아의 존재론적 의미를‘힘의 마주침’으로 메타 의미화하고자 한다. 자료수집은 2019년 5월부터 2019년 10월까지 6개월간 진행되었으며, 연구현장인 숲학교에서 만4부터 만8세까지 11명의 유아를 대상으로 현장관찰자료 및 면담자료 그 밖에 문서화된기록물들을 수집하였다. 1차 분석과정에서 유아들의 놀이를 통해 현시된 의미를 발견하고자하였으며, 2차적 분석과정은 1차 분석과정을 통해 드러난 놀이의 의미를 다시금‘힘의 마주침’에 대해 정동이론으로 메타 의미화 하였다. 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아들은 놀이상황을 통해 ‘힘들의 부딪힘’을 드러내고 있었다. 유아들은 인식하기 이전에 행함으로 자신을 드러내는 존재였다. 둘째, 유아들은 놀이상황을 통해‘힘들의 뒤섞임’을 드러내고 있었다. 유아는 행위함과 행위받음의 사이에서 자신을 드러내는 존재였다. 셋째, 유아들은 놀이상황을 통해‘힘들의 변이’를드러내고 있었다. 유아는 되어감에 차이를 생성하며 자신을 드러내는 존재였다.

With the goal of examining the raison children, who presents themselves through play situations, the current study seeks the meta-significance of children’s existential meaning under the concept of “forces of encounter” through the theory of Badiou, who understood the situation itself under existentialism. The current study was conducted for six months from May 2019 to October 2019. Eleven children from four to eight years in age were observed and interviewed in Forest School. The collected observation data and documented data were first analyzed to find the meaning presented through play activities of the children. In secondary analysis, the meaning of play revealed through the first analysis session was examined, with the goal of developing meta-significance through the affectus theory on the forces of encounter. The following results were obtained through the current study. First, children present “forces of encounter” through play situations. Children are beings who present themselves by acting before recognizing. Second, children present “forces of mixing” through play situations. Children are beings that present themselves between actions and being acted upon. Third, children presented “forces of change” through play situations. Children are beings who present themselves by generating differences in becoming.
