Early Childhood Teachers Perceptions of 2019 Revised Nuri Course and Needs for Teacher Training

본 연구는 유아교사의 배경변인에 따라 2019개정 누리과정에 대한 인식과 교사연수에 대한 요구를 알아보고, 2019개정 누리과정의 효과적인 실행을 위한 발전방안을 모색해 보고자 실시되었다. 이를 위해 전라북도와 충청남도에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하는 3-5세반 교사 221명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 수집된 자료는 두 독립표본 t-검증, 일원변량 분석, Pearson의 적률상관계수를 산출하여 상관관계 분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 2019개정 누리과정의 전체 인식은 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 배경변인별로는 교육기관에 따라 목적 및 목표를 제외한 교사의 인식에 차이가 없었으며, 담당 연령에 따라서는 교수-학습방법, 의사소통, 사회관계, 예술경험에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 학력에 따라서는 학력이 높을수록 인식의 정도가 높게 나타났으며, 연령에 따라서는 영역별 구체적 내용에 따른 인식과 신체운동·건강 및 자연탐구에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 교육기관에 따른 연수 현황에서는 차이가 나타나지 않았으며 2019개정 누리과정의 시행을 위해 지속적인 연수가 필요하다고 하였다. 그러나 연수 받은 횟수에서 교육기관에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 교사 연수 요구는 다양한 상황에서 교사개입 전략과 놀이 확장 방법에 대한 요구에서 유치원 교사의 요구가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 2019개정 누리과정에 대한 인식에 따른 연수 요구에서는 2019개정 누리과정에 대한 인식이 높을수록 연수에 대한 요구가 정적으로 유의미한 상관관계를 보였다.

This study aims to examine the perceptions of early childhood teachers and teacher training for the 2019 revised Nuri course and to present basic data for determining development plans to supplement the effective implementation of the 2019 revised Nuri course. To this end, a survey was conducted on 221 teachers working with classes of children aged 3 to 5 in kindergartens and daycare centers located in Jeollabuk-do and Chungcheongnam-do. The collected data was analyzed by calculating through t-tests, one-way variance analysis, and Pearson s coefficient of correlation. The results of the studies are as follows. First, overall awareness of the 2019 revised Nuri course caused no difference in the awareness of teachers except for purposes and goals according to the work institute. However, the overall awareness of early childhood teachers was high in relation to factors such as the differences in teaching-learning methods, communication, social relations, and art experiences according to the age of those in charge. Notably, it was also found that the higher the level of education, the higher the degree of awareness. Second, there was no difference in training status by working institution, and it was said that continuous training was necessary for the implementation of the 2019 revised Nuri course. However, there was a significant difference in the number of training sessions depending on work organization. Third, there was a high demand from kindergarten teachers for teacher training in teacher intervention strategies and methods of expanding play in various situations. Fourth, in relation to the demand for training according to the awareness of the 2019 revised nursing process, the higher the awareness of the 2019 revised nursing history, the more positively the demand for training was positively correlated.
