대학 교수자의 온라인 수업 운영 경험에 대한 내러티브

Narratives on University Professor s Experience in Online Lecture

본 연구는 교수자가 온라인 수업을 운영하기 위해 직면했던 문제를 해결한 경험적인 과정을 반성적으로 성찰함으로써 수업의 본질에 따른 교수자의 역할에 대해 이해하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 다루어지는 수업은 C 대학교에서 강사로 임용된 연구자가 2020년 1학기에 온라인 수업으로 운영한 교직과목에 해당한다. 연구자는 온라인 수업을 진행한 경험이 전혀 없었으며, 온라인 수업을 진행하기 위한 별도의 훈련 과정 없이 수업을 준비해야 했다. 전 세계적으로 발생한 전염병인 코로나19의 국내 확산으로 유례없이 진행된 온라인 수업에서 여러 시행착오를 거치면서 학생들의 참여를 위해 다양한 교수학습활동을 시도했다. 이례적으로 진행된 온라인 수업에서 교수자의 어려움을 극복해나가는 온라인 수업 운영 과정을 통해 교수자의 역할을 제시하는데 의의가 있다. 마지막으로 연구자의 경험을 바탕으로 학생과 교수자 간 소통과 학생 참여 증진을 위한 대학 수업의 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to consider the role of university professors, reflecting cases of online lectures according to the essence of teaching. In order to carry out this study, the researcher reflected on the process and the results that faced while running online lectures. The online lecture covered in this study was the teaching training course for the undergraduate students. The researcher had no experience in conducting online lecture and had to prepare the lecture without any training course. With the spread of Covid 19, an epidemic that has occurred worldwide, university professors had to prepare for online lectures in Korea. Thus, the researcher underwent various trials and errors to run the online lecture, and tried various teaching and learning activities to increase the students’ participation in the lecture. It is significant in presenting the role of university professors through an online lecture management. Finally, based on the researcher s experience, this researcher suggests that the implications of university lectures to increase communication and student participation between students and professors.
