기본교육과정을 운영하는 특수교사의 온라인 수업 경험 탐구

Exploring the special education teacher’s experience of online class in operating basic curriculum

이 연구는 2020년 상반기 코로나 19로 인해 진행되었던 온라인 수업에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 알아보고, 향후 온라인 수업이 재개된다면 선결되어야 할 과제를 모색하고자 특수교사의 온라인 수업 경험을 탐구한 것이다. 연구 방법은 내러티브 탐구를 사용하였으며, 연구를 위한 질문지는 Bateman(1994)의 특수교육 쟁점 분석기준을 바탕으로 개발하였다. 연구참여자는 연구자가 근무하는 학교의 특수교사 5인이며, 온라인 개학 준비단계, 온라인 수업 실행 중, 등교 개학 이후 등 3차례 이상씩 개별적 면담을 하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집한 자료는 시간의 순서에 따라 축을 분류한 후, 공간성, 상호작용성의 의미 단위로 이야기를 구성하였다. 연구 결과, 특수교사들은 기본교육과정 대상 학생에게 온라인으로 수업을 한다는 것에 처음에는 ‘온라인이라는 공간의 낯섦에 대한 거부감’과 ‘새로운 형태의 상호작용에 대한 부정적인 기대로 인한 불안감’을 느꼈으나 온라인 공간에서 콘텐츠 제작이나 기기 조작 등을 통한 학생들과 새로운 상호작용에 의외의 재미와 반응을 경험하였고, 자신의 교수 전문성이 향상되었음을 긍정적으로 평가하였다. 또 향후 온라인 수업이 원만히 이루어지기 위해서는 환경구축, 학생 학습지원 인력과 양질의 온라인 콘텐츠 개발·보급, 교육과정 시수 편제 조정 및 제도 보완 등이 필요함을 말하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 교과서 플랫폼 구축, 기본교육과정형 LMS, 학습지원 바우처 등을 제안하였다.

This study explores the online class experience for special education teachers in order to explore their awareness of online class and their future challenges in learning. The research method was used to explore narratives, and the questionnaire for the research was developed based on Bateman s special education issue analysis criteria. The research participants were five special education teachers and the data was collected by interviewing and divided into scenes according to the order of time, and the stories were organized in semantic units. As a result of the study, special education teachers were initially anxious about online to students in the basic curriculum, but experienced unexpected fun and online interaction with students, and positively evaluated their improved teaching expertise. In addition, online schools were required to build up the environment, develop and distribute quality content with support personnel, adjust the number of curriculum timelines, and supplement the system. Based on the results of the study, the establishment of a textbook platform, basic curriculum LMS, and learning support vouchers were proposed.
