고교학점제에 따른 체육과 선택과목 개발 연구

A Study on the Development of Physical Education Elective Subjects according to the High School Credit System

본 연구의 목적은 고교학점제에 따른 고등학교 체육 선택과목 개발 방향을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 체육과 교육과정 현장적용 연수에 참가한 교사들에게 설문조사와 면담을 실시하여 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과, 선택과목 중 <체육 탐구> 과목의 명칭, 성격, 목표, 내용 요소의 적절성은 다소 낮았다. 목표는 현행 수준이 적절하지만, 선택과목 간 내용 영역의 중복은 피하고, 학습 범위 및 분량도 줄여야 한다. 체육계열로 진학하는 학생들의 체육 진로탐구 및 체육학적 지식을 심화하기 위한 과목이 필요하다. 따라서 향후 체육과 선택과목은 첫째, 이론 중심적인 측면보다는 신체활동과의 연계성을 높여야 한다. 둘째, 고교학점제에 부합하도록 1～2학기 내에 이수할 수 있도록 내용 분량을 축소해야 한다. 셋째, <체육> 과목은 공통과목으로 분류하고 다른 체육 선택과목과의 내용 영역 및 요소의 중복성은 최소화해야 한다. 넷째, 체육계열로 진학하는 학생들의 체육학 학문적 기초와 진로탐구를 위한 과목은 별도로 개발해야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of development of high school physical education electives under the high school credit system. To collect and analyze date, survey and interview were conducted with the teachers who participated in field application training for the 2015 revised physical education curriculum. The results of the study showed that <Physical Education Exploration> had relatively lower fitness in the adequacy of the titles, characteristics, goals and content elements of the subject. The subject goal is appropriate at the current level but it is required to avoid duplication of contents between elective subjects and reduce the scope and load of learning. Subjects to deepen students knowledge of physical education career and physical education are also needed. Considering these, future physical education and elective subjects should first strengthen their link to physical activity rather than focusing on theory-driven aspects. Second, the contents should be reduced so that students can complete the courses within one to two semesters in line with the high school credit system. Third, the subjects <Physical Education> should be classified as common subjects and the overlap of content areas and elements with other physical education elective subjects should be minimized. Fourth, separate subject development is required for the academic foundation of physical education and career exploration of students entering the physical education field.
