테셀매니악과 POLY를 활용한 온라인 도형탐구 수학영재프로그램 개발

A Development of On-line Education Programs Utilizing Tesselmaniac and POLY for the Math Gifted Students in Elementary School

본 논문에서는 비대면 초등수학영재수업을 위한 프로그램을 개발한다. 다양한 수학소프트웨어를 활용한 도형탐구가 가능한 대면수업과 달리 학생들이 각자의 집에서 설치할 수 있는 프로그램을 활용해야 하는 비대면 수업의 한계를 극복하고 다양하고 창의적인 도형탐구를 위해서 테셀매니악(tesselmaniac)과 폴리(poly)를 활용한 수학영재프로그램을 개발하게 되었다. 영재학생들이 스스로 도형의 성질을 조사하고, 정의를 내리는 과정에서 수학적 사고력이 다져지는 계기가 될 것을 바란다.

In this paper, the author developed an on-line education program utilizing tesselmaniac and poly for the math gifted students in elementary school. Unlike face-to-face classes that allows students to explore shapes using various math software, they have overcome the limitations that require students to use programs that can be installed in their own homes. It is hoped that gifted students will be able to strengthen their mathematical thinking skills in the process of investigating and defining the nature of shapes themselves.
