COVID-19와 선제적 뉴 노멀의 목회

The Era of COVID-19, the Proactive Type of Church and Ministry

금세기 유래 없었던 코로나-19(COVID-19) 전염병 대유행으로 인하여 세상은 급격히 변화하고 있다. 사회 전반에 걸쳐 뉴노멀이 자리 잡고 있다. 교회는 이뉴노멀의 시대에 어떻게 대처할 것인가? 교회 그리고 목회란 세상에서 예수 그리스도의 십자가로 인해 불러냄을 받은 자들이 세상을 향하여 구원을 위해 섬김과 봉사를 하는 것이다. 초대교회는 소그룹 가정교회로서 그 소그룹가정교회의 모든 구성원들이 목회에 참여하였다. 그것이 성경적 사도교회의 노멀이었다. 현대 교회는 사실 그 성경적 본질의 궤도에서 많이 벗어난 애브노멀(abnormal) 가운데있다. 뉴노멀로 빠르게 변화하는 사회에서 교회와 목회가 뉴노멀이 가는 길은 성서적인 노멀인 소그룹가정교회와 목회로 돌아가는 것이다. 그것이 예수님과 제자들의 모본이었다. 그러므로 현대 교회도 현 사태에 임기응변식 대응이 아닌 선제적으로, 곧 성경적 뉴노멀의 소그룹가정교회로 회귀하여서 이 작은 환란의 시기와 곧 있을 큰 환난의 시기도 아울러 잘 대비해야 할 것이다.

Through the unprecedented attack of the Covid-19 pandemic, this world is being drastically changed. The so-called ‘New Normal” is being rapidly settled in society throughout the world. How will the church react to this era of the New Normal? We can state that the meaning of church and ministry is service and serving for the salvation of the world by those who were called out by the cross of Jesus Christ. The Early Church was a small-group house church and the ministry was shared by all of the small-group house church members. That was the Normal of the biblical apostolic church. Yet themodern church is ‘abnormal’, off of the Normal biblical trajectory of church andministry. In this rapidly changing society to the “New Normal”, the “New Normal” of church and ministry is returning to the biblical Normal, small-group house church and ministry. Jesus and his disciples were the primary, exemplary case. Therefore. the modern church should proactively go back to the New Normal which means the renewal of the lost biblical Normal, in order to prepare for these small and great tribulations that are coming imminently.
