중도중복장애학생 수업에 대한 특수교사의 인식과 지원요구

Perception and Support Needs of Special Education Teachers on Lesson for Students with Severe-Multiple Disabilities

연구목적: 본 연구는 중도중복장애학생의 수업에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 탐색하고 동시에 중도중복장애학생의 수업 향상을 위하여 우선적으로 지원되어야 할 요소를 살피는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 중도중복장애학생을 담당하고 있는 특수교사 153명을 대상으로 수업에 대한 중요도와 수행도에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과: 중도중복장애학생의 수업에 대한 우선 지원 영역과 항목을 알아보기 위한 IPA 분석 결과, 1사분면에 위치하여 지속유지 해야 하는 영역은 교수-학습계획, 교수-학습과정, 수업관리 영역이었으며, 중요도는 높으나 실행도가 낮아 개선노력이 시급한 항목은 ‘학생의 기능 수준에 따라 과제분석 하기’, ‘학생의 특성에 적합한 교수-학습방법 계획하기’, ‘학생의 특성을 고려한 교수-학습자료 선정하기’, ‘중도중복장애학생 수업전략, 교수-학습방법의 개선 등 수업개선을 위해 노력하기’, ‘교육과정(성취기준, 교과용 도서 등) 연구하기’로 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 중도중복장애학생을 위해 특수교사가 활용할 수 있는 실질적인 교수-학습 전략을 제시하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to look into the special education teachers’ perception and support needs on lesson for students with severe-multiple disabilities. Method: 153 special education teachers completed questionnaires. The data were analyzed using a paired t-test, and IPA matrix analysis method. Results: According to IPA analysis to find out the priority support areas and items for the classes of students with severe-multiple disabilities, the areas that should be maintained in the first quadrant were teaching-learning plans, teaching-learning courses, class management, and the areas that are of high importance but low performance urgent for improvement efforts were to Analysis of tasks according to student s skill level , Planning teaching-learning method suitable for student s characteristics , Selecting teaching-learning materials considering student s characteristics , Efforts to improve the class by teaching strategy for students with severe-multiple disabilities and improving teaching-learning methods , and Studying the curriculum (achievement standards, textbooks, etc.). Conclusion: Based on the results, various practical strategies to improve teaching-learning for students with severe-multiple disabilities were suggested.
