This study analyzed the papers published in 7 domestic professional journals from 1963 to 2019 through the semantic network method to find out the trend of domestic mathematics education research. For a total of 4,559 research titles, the Netminer 4.0 program was used to analyze the wordcloud and degree centrality for each research period to examine the main features and process of change. As a result, in the research periods from 1963 to 1989, the early stages of the study, many researches on teacher-centered instruction was conducted, and many studies related to secondary education were conducted. Moreover, the researches on macroscopic perspectives were conducted main focus. In the 1990s, researches related to elementary school were focused on learning, and the interest in studying students’ problem solving ability was increased. In the study of the 2000s, the proportion of student-related research was higher than others, and case studies on teaching and teaching methods were more specific and subdivided. In the studies from 2010 to 2019, qualitative studies such as textbook analysis, class cases, gifted students, and problem solving were increased steadily. Based on these results, it was found that the studies on middle and high schools need to be conducted more in order to further develop the direction of domestic mathematics education research.
