어린이집 평가인증 통합지표와 운영체계에 대한 보육교직원의 인식

Childcare center staff’s perceptions of integrated indicators and operating system of childcare center evlauation and certification

본 연구는 어린이집 평가인증 통합지표의 평가지표 및 개정된 운영체계에 대한 어린이집 원장과보육교사의 인식에 대해 알아보고, 어린이집 평가인증 지표의 적절성 및 실천방안을 제시하기 위하여 실시되었다. 이를 위하여 어린이집 보육교직원을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 보육교직원은평가인증 통합지표가 평가기준으로 적절하다고 인식하였으며, 건강⋅안전영역의 지표에 대한 적절성 인식이가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 평가인증 통합지표의 적절성에 대한 보육교직원의 배경변인에 따른 인식에서설명회 참석여부에 따라서는 설명회에 참여하지 않은 집단이 설명회에 참여한 집단보다 교직원 영역에서다소 높게 적절하다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 평가인증 통합지표의 개정된 운영체계에 대해서는개정1 지표의 통합과 개정 2등급제에 의한 평가 항목에서 보육교직원의 찬성 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며개정 4 현장평가 100% 반영한 결과 산출이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 넷째, 평가인증 통합지표의 운영체계 개정사항에 대한 보육교직원의 배경변인에 따른 인식에서 보육경력에 따라서는 보육경력 3년 미만인 집단이 지표의통합과 재참여의 확대 항목에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구결과는 어린이집 평가인증 통합지표운영의 발전을 위한 방안이 될 수 있으며 나아가 평가인증제 의무화 및 유보통합 평가제를 위한 기초자료가될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study was conducted to analyze the integrated indexes of childcare center evaluation and certification and the percpetions of childcare center directors and teachers on the revised operation system. This study presented the appropriateness of centers’ evaluation and certification indicators and an appropriate future action plan for utilizing the indicators. A questionnaire survey was conducted on childcare staff. The results showed that first, childcare staff recognized that the integrated indicators of the center assessment and certification were appropriate as evaluation criteria, and their awareness of the appropriateness of the indicators in the health and safety area was the highest. Second, the recognition of the adequacy of the integrated indicators for evaluation and certification was found to be more appropriate in the fields of teachers and staff who participated in the briefing session than those who did not. Third, regarding the revised operating system of the integrated evaluation and certification indicators, the approval level of teachers and staff was found high in the assessment items in the revised 2nd grade system whereas the calculated results reflecting 100% of the revised 4 field evaluation was found the lowest. Fourth, groups with less than three years of child care experience showed the highest in the categories of integration of indicators and expansion of re-engagement in the perceptions of the revision of the operating system of the evaluation certification integrated indicator according to the background variable of the childcare staff, The results of this study were discussed in terms of its significance that can guide future development of a center management system through integrative indicators for center evaluation and certification. This study can further be used as baseline for the mandatory center evaluations and integrated educare evaluation systems.
