본 연구의 목적은 초등학생 기악실기 개인레슨을 중심으로 비대면 음악 사교육의 새로운 가능성을 모색하는 것이다. 개인레슨은 초등음악 공교육 보완 및 실기 역량 강화 목적 하에 대면수업으로 수행되어 왔다. 이러한 개인레슨이 코로나 팬데믹으로 인해 비대면 수업으로 전환됨에 따라 비대면 개인레슨의 현황과 개선 과제를 짚어보고 미래지향적 가치를 탐색하였다. 현재기악실기 개인레슨을 수행 중인 초등학생과 학부모, 교사 12인을 심층 인터뷰한 결과 온라인기반 수업은 다양한 콘텐츠로 학생의 흥미를 유도하여 학습효과를 향상시킬 수 있다는 점과 시·공간적 제약이 약화되어 비용이 절감된다는 점에서 선호되었다. 그러나 정서적 교감 부족으로집중력이 저하될 수 있으므로 개인 간의 세심한 배려와 노력이 필요하며, 비대면 수업에 최적화된 커리큘럼 개발이 시급하고, 초연결·초지연의 인터넷 환경과 보급형 디지털 장비를 확충해야 함 등이 개선 과제로 지적되었다. 또한 AI, AR/VR 등이 접목되면서 비대면 교육은 기술적진화를 거듭하는 한편, 향후 교육 패러다임의 변화를 예고하기도 한다. 이러한 추세를 반영하여비대면 실기수업에 최적화된 커리큘럼을 마련하고 학생/학부모/교사 간의 정서적 교류를 확대하기 위한 연구가 수반된다면 비대면 개인레슨은 미래의 새로운 음악 교육방법으로서 음악 사교육 기회 확대에 이바지하게 될 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to explore new possibilities of online music private education, focusing on private instrumental music lessons for elementary school students. Private lessons have been performed as face-to-face classes, however, it has become inevitable to be performed as online classes due to the corona pandemic. As a result of in-depth interviews with 12 elementary school students, parents, and teachers who are currently conducting private lessons, online-based classes can induce interest in students with various contents and improve learning effects and they were preferred in resulting in cost savings. However, since the lack of emotional connection can reduce concentration, thoughtful consideration and effort between individuals are required and it is urgent to develop a curriculum optimized for online classes and the need to expand the Internet environment of hyper-connectivity and ultra-delay and the expansion of popular digital equipment were pointed out as improvement tasks. If the improvement efforts continue, online private lessons will be new method of music education in the future.
