교육대학교 체육 실기강의 교수자의 교수 경험 탐색

A Study on the Teaching Experiences of Physical Education Instructors in Practical Training Lectures at a Teachers College

본 연구의 목적은 교육대학교 체육 실기강의 교수자의 교수 경험을 통해 초등예비교사 교육의 현실적 어려움을 탐색하는데 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 위해서 A교육대학교(1명)와 B교육대학교(3명)에서 실기강의를 담당하고 있는 교수자 4명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 심층면담을 중심으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 질적 연구 방법으로 분석이 이루어졌다. 연구결과 첫째, 실기강의 교수자들은 혼돈의 실기강의 운영방식과 모호한 예비교사의 수준과 성향 파악, 그리고 1+1 강의목표의 딜레마로 인해 ‘부담스러운 강의계획’을 하고 있었다. 둘째, 실기강의 교수자들은 맛보기 식 수업과 소명감 없는 예비교사의 수업 태도와 자질, 그리고 열악할 수밖에 없는 교육환경으로 인해 ‘체념하게 되는 실기강의’를 할 수밖에 없는 상황을 밝혀내었다. 이러한 문제의 중심에는 교육대학교의 독특한 체육 실기강의 운영방식이 있었으며, 체육 실기강의 교수자들을 힘들고 어렵게 하는 주요 원인임을 확인하였다. 그리고 문제의 원인에 대한 개선방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate realistic difficulties with education for pre-service elementary school teachers based on the teaching experiences of PE instructors in practical training lectures at a teachers college. For this purpose, four instructors responsible for practical training lectures were selected as research participants at A Teachers College(one) and B Teachers College(three). Data was collected with an in-depth interview and analyzed in a qualitative research method. The findings were as follows: first, instructors made a demanding lecture plan for their practical training lectures due to the confusing management approach to practical training lectures, ambiguous examination into the levels and tendencies of pre-service teachers, and the dilemma of the 1+1 goal for lectures; and secondly, the instructors shed light on the situation in which they inevitably gave practical training lectures with resignation owing to sampling-style lessons, pre-service teachers attitudes and qualities in lessons with no sense of calling, and the educational environment that could not help being poor. At the center of these problems was the unique management approach to practical training lectures in PE at teachers colleges. It turned out to be a major cause that gave a hard and difficult time to PE instructors for practical training lectures. All so, the improvement plan for the cause of the problem was suggested.
