Pre-Service Elementary Teacher’s Attribution Styles for Happiness

본 연구는 직전 초등 교사의 행복감에 대한 귀인 성향을 밝히기 위해서 수행되었다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구는 3개 교육대학교 학생 95명을 대상으로 자신의 행복과 다른 사람의 행복한 이유를 질문에 응답하도록 하였다. 응답은 주제 분석법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 직전 초등 교사들은 자신의 행복을 주로 외적-통제 불가능-불안정한 요인, 내적-통제 가능-안정 요인이나 외적-통제 불가능-안정 요인에 귀인시키고, 다른 사람의 행복은 내적-통제 가능-안정요인, 외적-통제 불가능-불안정, 내적-통제 불가능 안정 요인이나 외적-통제 불가능-안정 요인에 귀인시키는 경향이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The purpose of this research was to identify pre-service elementary teacher’s attribution styles for subjective happiness. For this purpose, the happiness questionnaires were administered to 95 students of 3 Universities of Education. The inventory was consisted of two questions; ‘Are you happy and why you think so?’ and ‘Image who looks happy, why you think so?’ The responses were classified according to theme analysis method. The results were that pre-service elementary teachers attributed their own happiness to externaluncontrollable- unstable factors, internal- controllable- stable factors, or external- uncontrollable -stable factors. The other hand, the subjects attributed other’s happiness to internal- controllable- stable factors, external- uncontrollable- unstable factors, or external- uncontrollable -stable factors. It was suggested further research for systematically approaching to identified the attribute factors for subjective happiness.
