디지털 프로세스폴리오를 활용한 대안적인 전시 활동 탐색

Inquiry into Alternative Art Exhibition Activities Utilizing Digital Processfolio Project: Focused on Untact Art Lessons

본 논문은 COVID-19 사태로 인해 진행된 비대면 미술 수업 사례를 탐색하며 미술 시간에 활용 가능한 대안적인 미술 작품 전시 활동 방안을 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 특히 디지털 프로세스폴리오를 활용한 선행연구에서 소개된 전시 활동이 비대면 상황에서 구현될 수 있는 방법을 찾아보기 위한 것이다. 이 목적을 위해 디지털 프로세스폴리오와 전시하기 활동에 대한 문헌연구를 적용해 초등미술교사 양성 대학교 학부생을 대상으로 한 학기 동안 운영된 온라인 비대면 실시간 강좌 사례를 살펴 보고자 한다. 연구 결과 비대면 방식으로 진행된 디지털 프로세스폴리오 제작 과정에 포함된 전시하기 활동은 첫째, SNS를 활용한 타인과의 새로운 의사소통, 둘째, 비대면 불특정 참여의 확대, 셋째, 근접한 공간과 개인적 관계에 대한 탐색의 공감적 공유, 넷째, 어플리케이션을 이용한 색다른 선물하기와 같은 대안적 접근법을 보여주었다. 도출된 전시하기 활동의 미술교육적 의의는 기존의 단편적인 미술 작품 전시 활동을 확장시킬 수 있는 대안적 아이디어가 될 수도 있다는 점이다. 향후 정상적인 수업 환경에서도 유사한 교육적 접근과 시사점을 반영한 미술 수업이 시도되었으면 한다.

This study is to explore alternative art exhibition activities under the recent untact art lesson situation. The concept of art exhibition activity proposed by previous research trends in digital processfolio project hints an effective use of digital processfolio strategy even in untact art lesson condition. To investigate this idea more practically, this study introduces and analyzes practical examples of effective adaption of the concept in an art lesson case committed by the same research purpose. The cases of student teachers participating in an teacher education program in Korea provide practical examples of alternative art exhibition activities through their digital processfolio making project. Research result shows four major findings. First, art exhibition can be done as a new communication tool with others through SNS. Second, art exhibition can be activated as a vehicle to enhance untact participation of unknown others. Third, art exhibition can be utilized as a way for sympathetic sharing of not only the meaning and value of personally meaningful space but also the exploration of personal relationship with others. Finally, art exhibition can be enhanced in a way of providing a chance to transform artworks into meaningful gifts. When artwork creation and exhibition incorporates creative application programs, the process of producing and editing artworks increases the value and meaning of the artwork as a special gift for others. These results suggest alternative ideas for art exhibition activities in regular art classes after COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected for these unique examples of art exhibition activities to upgrade regular art exhibition activities even in our common art classes.
