포스트휴먼 주체와 기술적 상상력에 대한 연구

A Study on Posthuman Subjectivity and Techno Imagination: An Invitation to Unfamiliar Beauty

본 연구는 포스트휴머니즘을 반영하는 미술교육의 방향을 인문학과 현대미술의 흐름 속에서 찾고자 한다. 연구는 포스트휴먼 인간 주체에 대한 논의와 예술 표현을 위한 기술적 상상력의 가치 및 미적 특징을 다루었다. 포스트휴머니즘의 담론을 통해 미술교육의 주체로서 아동에 대한 이해를 새로 넓히고 미술교육의 미래적 가치를 향상시킬 논리를 제시하였다. 세부 내용으로 1) 포스트휴머니즘의 주체 인식을 미술 교육에 적용하는 문제, 2) 미래교육의 창의성 향상을 위한 방안으로서 ‘기술적 상상력’ 개념의 이해와 적용, 3) 포스트휴머니즘 미술의 미적 특성의 하나인 언캐니에 대한 이해와 적용 가능성에 대하여 연구하였다. 이러한 연구를 통해 이미 포스트휴먼의 시대를 살고 있는 아동에 대한 인식을 확장하고, 포스트휴머니즘 담론의 생산적 적용이 가능한 미술교육 실천에 대한 관점과 내용을 구성할 수 있을 것이다.

This study seeks to explore the direction of art education reflecting posthumanism through the vision of posthuman discourse and contemporary art practices. In the discourse of posthumanism, I tried to find a logic to broaden understanding of children as the subject of art education and improve the future value of art education. Art practices in the age of posthumanism show the language and methods of new art expression and another territory of beauty. This article examines the problem of 1) applying subject recognition of posthumanism discourse to the art education field; 2) understanding and application of the concept of ‘techno imagination as a way to improve the creativity of future education; 3) understanding and adaptability of uncanny, one of the aesthetic characteristics of posthumanism artworks. Through this study, we will be able to expand awareness about children already living in the posthuman era. We can imagine new art education that can apply posthuman discourse productively. I hope it will help to organize the perspective and contents of the new art education.
