종이의 가변적 물성을 활용한 입체조형 수업 사례연구

The Case Study of Three-Dimensional Modeling Class Using Variable Properties of Paper : Focusing on Class Cases for the Second Grade of Elementary School Pre-Service Teachers

미술은 재료를 자유롭게 탐색하고 표현하는 활동이며, 그 결과물로 소통한다. 본 연구는 초등 예비교사 교육대학교 2학년을 대상으로 종이의 물성을 탐색하고 평면성을 탈출하여 노작 활동을 통한 입체조형 제작 과정을 분석한 수업사례이다. 종이를 활용한 입체조형 표현활동은 오래전부터 미술 수업 현장에서 다양한 표현활동으로 활용됐다. 학생들은 친숙하게 다가오는 다양한 색상과 종류의 종이를 쉽게 생각하고 있지만, 종이의 평면적 특성이 강하다는 선입관으로 입체표현의 주재료로 활용하기 어렵다고 느끼고 있다. 또한, 평면표현보다 입체표현에 관심과 흥미를 나타내면서도 과정상 수정이 힘들다는 이유로 표현에 소극적이다. 본 연구는 종이 조형 제작 과정을 통한 창의적인 조형적 사고력 확장과 미술 수업 현장에서의 적용 방안에 관한 내용을 정리했다. 본 연구에서 정리한 수업을 통해 얻은 작품 결과물과 에세이분석으로 다음과 같은 교육적 의미를 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 종이는 점재, 선재, 면재, 양재적 가변성을 기반으로 노작 활동의 주재료로서 효과가 높다. 둘째, 종이의 물성을 경험한 예비교사들이 수업 현장에서 입체조형을 적극적으로 활용할 수 있다는 자신감을 얻었다. 셋째, 종이라는 재료를 탐색하고, 몰입을 통한 제작 과정에서 창의적 조형 사고력을 확장시켰다. 넷째, 작품 제작 과정에서 학생들 스스로 문제해결을 통해 주체적 학습성과 향상에 긍정적 영향을 주었다. 다섯째, 모둠별 협동, 연극 놀이 등 타 교과목과의 연계를 통한 다양한 활용방안을 기대할 수 있었다. 여섯째, 서로의 작품 감상을 통한 공감하는 과정에서 사회성을 확장시킬 수 있는 교육적 의미를 얻을 수 있었다.

The art is creative activity that freely exploring and expressing material and communicates as a result. This research is a case study of elementary school second graders in University of education who were preservice elementary school teachers who analyzed the process of 3D construction, formative, and expressive activities through work activities by escaping the flatness of paper and exploring the properties of paper. The three-dimensional formative expression activity using paper has been used as a variety of expression activities at the elementary art class for a long time. Students are familiar with the various colors and types of paper, but sketching paper with 3D modeling and converting physical properties to solid, that is, expanding from 2D to 3D, the detailed shape must be reproduced. Due to its preconception, it is hard to expect results as much as effort and time. Therefore, this research summarized various solutions how preservice elementary school teachers are seeking more creative formative thinking expansion in art class and how to use paper to understand and express paper molding to students. The following educational results were obtained through the analysis of essays and the obtained work results through the classes. 1) Paper is highly effective main material in the cultivation activities based on dot, line, face, and quantitative variability. 2) Preliminary teachers who experienced the physical properties of paper obtained confidence that they could actively utilize three-dimensional modeling in the classroom. 3) Exploring properties of paper and expanding creative thinking skills in the production process through immersion. 4) During the production process, students had a positive effect on improving their subjective learning outcomes through self-problem solving. 5) It can be expected various utilization plans through linkage with other subjects such as group collaboration and play. 6) In the process of appreciating, communicating, and understanding each other s work, it can be obtained an educational result which can expands sociality.
