영상의 점화효과(Priming effect)를 적용한 미술교육에서의 영화 감상교육 방안에 대한 연구

A Study on Instruction Method of Film Appreciation Education in Art Education Using Priming Effect of Video

교육현장에서 영화교육은 영화 제작교육과 감상교육의 두 형태로 구분된다. 미술교육에서의 영화교육은 대부분 학습자에게 영화에 대한 체험을 제공하는 영화 제작 교육 차원에서 이뤄지고 있다. 영화교육의 목적은 학습자들에게 영화를 통해 자신들의 삶에 대한 통찰력을 기르고 세상의 변화에 능동적으로 적응할 수 있도록 하는데 있다. 이를 위해서는 영화학습을 통해 삶에 대해 통찰할 수 있는 확장된 교육적 경험을 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 본고는 이러한 측면에서 영상의 점화효과에 주목하고 이를 적용한 영화 감상교육 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 영상의 점화효과는 영상에 무분별하게 노출된 오늘날의 학습자에게 포괄적 인지를 형성하게 할 수 있다는 교육적 가능성을 갖는다. 동시에 미술교육에서의 영화교육에서 교수자의 교육적 의도를 포괄하는 효율적 영화 감상교육 방안으로 기능할 수 있다. 이러한 접근은 학생들에게 영화에 대한 체험적 학습을 넘어 영화에 대해 심층적 이해와 분석을 가능하게 한다는 점에서 의미를 갖는다.

The film education in the field of education is divided into two types: film production education and appreciation education. Especially, the film education in art education is mostly being provided in terms of the film production that provides students with film experiences. The purpose of film education is to enable students to solve problems in their lives through films and to actively adapt to changes in the world. This requires film learning to provide an extended educational experience that provides insight into life. In this respect, this paper focuses on the priming effect of video and proposes a instruction method that applies them. The priming effect of video has the educational potential to form comprehensive perceptions for today s students who are indiscriminately exposed to video. In addition, it can function as an efficient appreciation education strategy that can complete the educational intention of the teacher in film education in art education. This approach is meaningful in that it enables students to have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding and analysis of film beyond experiential learning about film.
