2009 개정 교육과정 미술 교과서의 영역별 참고작품 분석 연구

Analysis Study on each section of the Reference Works in Art Textbooks of 2009 Revised Curriculum: Focused on 3rd and 4th Grade in Elementary School

본 연구에서는 미술 교과서에 제시된 참고작품의 중요성에 대한 인식을 바탕으로2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 3, 4학년 미술 교과서에 제시된 참고작품을 비교·분석하고, 그에 따른 문제점과 개선 방향을 모색하여 차후에 개정되는 미술 교과서에 보완할 수 있는 보다 효율적인 교과 내용의 개선 방향을 제시하는데 그 의의를 두었다. 이에 따라 2009 개정 교육과정 미술 교과서에서 참고작품의 의미에 대한 문헌연구를 바탕으로 초등학교 3, 4학년 5종의 미술 교과서에 제시된 참고작품을 영역별로 비교·분석하여 문제점을 살펴보고 그 결과를 토대로 성취기준에 따른 영역별 참고작품 개선방안을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 참고작품에 대한 도판 설명을 명확하게 제시해야 한다. 둘째, 출판사별로 적정한 참고작품 수를 제시할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 체험 영역에서 자연물과 인공물에 대한 참고작품의 수를 적절하게 조정할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 표현 영역에서 학생작품의 수를 적정하게 조절하고, 국외 학생의 참고작품을 제시할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 참고작품을 국가별, 시대별로 고르게 분배하여 수록해야 한다. 여섯째, 감상 영역에 다양한 장르의 참고작품을 고르게 제시하는 것이 필요하다. 이와 같이 본 연구를 통해 도출된 2009 개정 교육과정 미술 교과서의 참고작품 개선 방안이 추후 개정되는 미술 교과서 개발의 선행 자료로서 의의가 있을 것으로기대하며, 나아가 초등 미술 교과서에서 참고작품에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져미술 교과서의 질적 향상이 이루어지기를 기대한다.

This study, based on recognizing the importance of reference works presented in art textbooks, comparatively analyzes reference works presented in 3rd, 4th grade elementary school art textbooks, finds their problems and explore improvement plans so that a direction of efficient improvement that the existing art textbooks may be complemented. Its research was done in the following process. Based on understanding the year 2009 revised educational curricula and research on the meaning of reference works in the textbooks, it comparatively analyzed works presented in the 5 kinds of art textbooks for 3rd/4th grade elementary students to find out problems, based on which results the following plan to improve reference works is suggested; First, clear explanation of illustrations should be presented. Second, proper number of reference works should be presented by publisher. Third, the number of natural objects and man-made ones in the experience area should be properly regulated. Fourth, expression area should properly regulate the number of works by students and present more by foreign students. Fifth, reference books should be evenly distributed by nation and time. Sixth, it’s necessary to evenly distribute reference works of various genres in the appreciation area. The plan devised by this study to improve reference works of the 2009 revised art textbooks is expected to have meaning as foregoing data for would-be revised art textbooks and further, the current writer expects that continuos research in year ahead on reference works in art textbooks will bring about an increase in their quality.
