초등미술교육을 통한 정서지능 교육 프로그램 모형 개발 연구

A Study on Emotional Intelligence Educational Program Model Development through Elementary School Art Education

본 연구는 초등미술교육을 통한 정서지능 교육 프로그램 모형을 개발하고, 모형에적합한 프로그램을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 제시한 초등미술교육의 정서지능교육 프로그램 모형은 상황인식, 상황해석, 정서활용, 내면화의 4단계로 이루어진다. 모형에 따라 개발된 프로그램을 세 영역으로 구분하여 한 영역마다 다시 세 개의 수업으로 이루어지도록 하였고 각각의 수업도 프로그램 모형에 따라 진행하였다. 결과는측정도구에 의한 향상도 이외에도 학생들의 정서적 안정감과 정서조절력이 전반적으로 향상된 것이 관찰되었다. 이것으로 본 연구에서 개발한 교육프로그램 모형은 초등학교에서 미술교육을 통해 정서지능이 향상되는 데 적절한 절차와 전략을 지니고 있다고 할 수 있겠다.

The study aims to develop the emotional intelligence educational program through elementary school art education and develop programs appropriate to the models in the thought that emotional expression and visual image facilitate the role of art education in interpersonal communication. The emotional intelligence education program model proposed in this study on elementary school art education had four stages of situation perception, situation interpretation, emotional application, and internalization. The author categorized those stages into three areas and suggested three classes in each area, and conducted each class according to the program model. The author compared the results before and after the application of the program model through emotional intelligence measurement tools, and analyzed the teacher s observation and student s questionnaire to measure the emotional intelligence. Students improved student emotional intelligence. Besides such improvements by measurement tools, students improved their emotional stability and emotional regulating capacity. The study yielded the conclusions. The educational program model developed in this study had an impact on improving the emotional intelligence through art education in elementary school and had appropriate procedures and strategies.
