A Study on the Characteristics of Fish Family Picture Drawn by School Maladjusted Children and Their Association with the Family

학교부적응 아동의 다양한 원인을 분석하고, 해결하기 위한 방법은 여러 가지가 있지만, 본문에서는 학교부적응 아동들과 가족 구성원의 연계성을 분석하기 위해 물고기가족화 검사도구를 적용하였다. 그 결과 나타난 그림 형태와 가족의 연계성에 대해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 그림의 특징은 첫째, 물고기가 위쪽을 향하고 있는것은 개성이 강하거나 주변에 스트레스를 주는 형태이다. 둘째, 물고기의 크기로 가족의 위상이 결정된다. 셋째, 어항에서 벗어나려는 물고기는 개성이 강하거나 독립하려는 경향이 있었다. 넷째, 물고기 형태가 각자 다르게 표현한 것은 가족의 개성이 강한경우이다. 다섯째, 가족 물고기가 서로 다른 공간에 배치하는 것은 가족구성원의 소통부족이다. 여섯째, 어항 위쪽에 있는 물고기가 서열이 높거나 힘이 강한 경우이다. 일곱째, 물고기의 형태가 크거나 이빨이 날카로우면 공격성이 강하다. 여덟째, 물고기가날카로운 무기 같은 것을 들고 있으면 자기방어나 공격성이 강하다고 볼 수 있다. 가족과 연계된 내용은 첫째, 아빠를 그리지 않은 경우는 아빠와 관계성이 원활하지 않은경우가 많았다. 둘째, 돌아가신 아빠나 엄마를 그리는 경우에는 아직 부모의 존재감이아동의 마음에 깊이 내재되어 있다고 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 아동과 관계가 불편한 가족은일정한 장소에 감금하거나 선으로 경계선을 표시했다. 넷째, 아동과 소통이 잘 되는가족은 가깝게 그리거나 형태를 비슷하게 표현하였다. 다섯째, 소외된 아동은 자신을그리지 않는 경우가 많았다.

There are a number of ways to analyze and solve various causes of children’s maladjustment to school. The article at hand applied the testing tool of the fish family picture to analysis of the association between school maladjusted children and the family members. The results lead to the following conclusions concerning the association between the characteristics of pictures and the family: First, upward direction of the fish indicates a strong personality or stressing out the people around. Second, the size of the fish determines the position of the family members. Third, the fish trying to get out of the fishbowl tends to have a strong personality or become independent. Fourth, different types of fish indicate strong personality of the family members. Fifth, arrangement of the fish family members in different places shows the lack of communication in the family. Sixth, the fish on the upper side of the fishbowl is of high rank or strong power. Seventh, big size of fish or sharp teeth implies strong aggression. Eighth, if the fish is holding a sharp weapon or something like that, it indicates strong self-defense or aggression. Concerning association with the family, first, in many cases, if a child does not draw the father, it tends to show that the child is not on intimate terms with him. Second, drawing deceased father or mother implies the presence of the parent(s) deeply imprinted on the memory of the child. Third, the family members who are not on good terms with the child are usually locked up in specific places or demarcated by a line. Fourth, the family members on good terms with the child are usually drawn near the child fish or in similar shapes. Fifth, alienated children tend not to draw themselves.
