문화예술교육사 제도 정착을 위한 프로그램 체계화 방안

A study on the improvement of systematized programs for arts & culture education instructors in art and design areas

본 연구는 문화예술교육사 교육과정 개정에 따른 교과목의 변화를 맞이하여 문화예술교육사 제도 정착을 위한 프로그램 체계화 방안을 제안하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를위하여 2015년 현재 문화예술교육사 10개 분야 중 가장 많은 분야를 개설하고 있는 3 개 양성기관(A, D, E대학교 문화예술교육원)을 선정, 각 양성기관에서 제공하고 있는 미술 및 디자인 분야 교육과정의 ‘교수 역량’ 및 ‘예술 전문성’ 교과목을 분석하였다. 각 양성기관별로 특색을 지닌 교과목을 개설하고 있는 바, 미술 및 디자인대학의 교과목과는 구별되는 문화예술교육사 양성을 위한 핵심 사항을 필요로 한다는 것을 알 수있었다. 본 연구 결과로서 문화예술교육사 프로그램 체계화를 위한 방안으로 개정 교육과정의 ‘직무 역량’ 중 ‘교수 역량’ 교과목은 분야별 교육이 아닌 문화예술교육사로서의 문화예술교육이 강화되어야 하며, ‘예술 전문성’은 분야별 세부 구분을 지양하고 통합·융합에 기초하여 구성해야 하고, 문화예술교육사의 개별 예술 전문성을 강화하고다양한 기회를 통해 개인의 예술 활동을 권장해야 하며, 교육과정 개정 요구와 의견수렴 시 대상 및 범위가 확대되어야 하고, 양성기관의 질적 제고를 위한 평가 시스템이마련되어야 하며, 문화예술교육사 분야별 구분의 적정성에 대한 제고가 필요하고, 학력진입 장벽 완화에 따라 진입하는 이들을 위한 맞춤식 교육이 필요함을 제안하였다.

Efforts to enable the national-run arts & culture education initiative has been started quite a long ago in Korea. The provision of the support act of arts & culture education as well as the introduction of the system for ‘arts & culture education instructors’ would enhance the status and clarify the eligibility requirement of arts & culture education professionals. The training institutions selected every year have produced arts & culture education instructors with second-class certificate of qualification since 2013. The purpose of this study was to explore ways to systematize programs for arts & culture education instructors based on the revised curriculum. For this study, 3 institutions were selected in order to compare instructional competence and art specialty of programs in art and design areas. It was found that each institution run its programs in accordance with its characteristics, and the key considerations for educating preservice arts & culture education instructors distinguishing from art and design college programs. In conclusion, total 7 ideas for program inprovement were sugested. The results of this study would help researches on education and the development of system for arts & culture education instructors by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts & Culture Education service.
