Exploring Various Ways to Develop Grade Cluster Textbooks for Elementary Art

본 연구에서는 학년군 교육과정의 유연한 학습의 도입 취지를 살리면서 학교 현장에유용하고 효용성이 높은 학년군 교과서의 형식과 내용 구성의 다양한 방식을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 7차와 2007년 개정 교육과정 시기의 초등학교 미술 교과서의특징을 살펴보고, 우리나라 보다 학년군 교육과정을 먼저 도입한 일본, 중국, 프랑스에서 미술 교과서의 특징을 살펴봄으로써 학년군 교과서의 다양한 합책과 분책 방식을제안하였고, 학년군 교육내용의 재구성 방식을 제안하였다.

The present study explored various ways to develop grade cluster textbooks for elementary Art subject. The focus was to explore how to issue textbook volumes and to organize content in a way that grade cluster textbooks can function as a useful, effective tool for learning in classrooms and provide flexible learning experiences reflecting the intent of the grade cluster curriculum. To this end, this study analyzed the characteristics of elementary Art textbooks based on the 7th and 2007 revised curriculums and the features of Art textbooks in Japan, China, and France where a grade cluster curriculum was introduced earlier. Based on the results, this study suggested some ways to issue separate volumes of grade cluster Art textbooks and to reorganize the learning content.
