교과교육으로서의 미술교육, 수업을 위한 방법론적 접근

교과교육으로서 미술수업에서는 학습자의 창의적인 활동이나 문화예술교육으로서의 역할도 중요하지만, 일반교육 및 공교육으로서 미술교육의 내적 가능성에 대한 인식이 필요하다. 이는 수업의 목적과 연결되는 미술교육의 의의이며 또한 이를 이루게하는 방법으로서 수업의 방법론에 대해 인식해야 한다. 미술을 통해 자기 표출만이 아니라 미술의 다양한 표현 방법들을 배우고 이해하며 그 과정에서 통찰을 통해 자신에게 적합한 표현 방법을 선택하는 것, 이를 통한 미술의 이해는 미술교육의 중요한 목적 중의 하나이다. 교과교육에서는 미술을 다양한 관점에서 통찰할 수 있는 능력을,축적되는 학습을 통해 기르는 것을 가능하게 한다. 본 연구에서는 방법론적 측면을 중심으로 교과교육으로서 미술교육의 성격과 내용을 알아보고, 초등학교를 중심으로 하여 학교 수업으로서 이루어지는 미술교과교육의 현상 및 문제점을 사례연구를 통해 살펴보고 미술교육의 방향을 탐색하고자 한다. 미술의, 미술을 통한 살아있다는 감각,이를 지탱하는 미술적 자유, 그리고 무엇보다도 이를 가능하게 하는, 교과로서의 합리주의적 사고와 이에 대한 인식, 교과 교육으로서 미술교육의 방향과 가능성에 대한 탐색이 필요하다.

This paper is considered that school art education has the potential as an intellectual training for school curriculum. I try to research a methodological guidance to the school art classes. For that, 2011 revision Korean national art curriculum was considered. The new curriculum is not much different from the present curriculum, because it doesn t have the guidance for methodology of teaching as like as present curriculum. And I tried the school field studies through a few cases so some problems of school art education are turned out in the class. The purposes in the class look unclear therefore students activity seemed futile. I have thought that s why the teachers did not recognize teaching methodology. It is necessary to consider the importance of a methodological approach on class for school curriculum. Art appreciate education is important for that. The concrete approach for guidance method comes to change simultaneously with this by the class purpose. A methodological approach is demanded in the research on teaching, for practicing standpoint of art education for school curriculum. In art class, students is often considered to do creative activities and this is very important point. But another purpose of the class is required for an art class in public school curriculum. To encourage poor self-express to children through art can t help them. Ultimately We have to discuss and configure the purpose and method of art education as school curriculum, for art education improving.
