초등 미술교육에서 영상교육의 현장 실태 조사 분석

Research and Analysis of Image Education in Elementary Art Education

2007년 개정 미술과 교육과정에 따른 미술과 교과서는 오늘날의 사회·문화적 흐름을 적극 반영하여 영상 관련 내용을 비교적 많은 비중을 두고 구성하고 있다. 또한 최근의 많은 미술교육 관련 연구들에서도 영상교육이 주를 이루고 있다. 미술교육에서영상은 이제 당연히 교육되어져야 하는 영역 중에 하나가 되었으며, 그 교수·학습 방법적 측면에서도 다각적인 모색들이 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 학교현장에서는 실질적으로 영상교육이 어느 정도 이루어지고 있으며, 교사들의 영상교육 지도능력과 교사양성기관에서의 예비교사를 위한 교육프로그램 등에 대한 진단적 측면에서의 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초등학교 미술교육에서 영상교육의 현장 실태를조사하여 분석하고자 한다. 연구 내용으로는 미술교육에서 영상교육이 필요한 이유를이론적 배경으로 하여, 현재 적용되고 있는 미술교과서에 영상교육 관련 내용을 분석하고 어떠한 내용으로 어떻게 학년 군별 위계성 있게 구성되어 있는지 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 학교현장에서 영상교육의 실태를 파악하기 위해 현장교사들에게 투입한 설문지를 중심으로 교사양성기관이나 연수를 통한 영상교육 경험, 미술수업시간에서의 영상교육 지도 경험, 영상교육에 대한 교사들의 인식 및 교과서에 대한 인식 등을 조사해 보고 그 실태를 분석하여 바람직한 영상교육을 위한 방향을 제시해 보고자 한다.

After the revision in 2007, art textbooks following art subject curriculums included much image related contents to reflect current social and cultural flows positively. Also, many recent art education studies are about image education. In art education, image has become an essential part, and image teaching and studying methods are being studied in diverse aspects. However, there are not enough study to diagnosis how much image education are actually adopted in real school scenes and about image education capacities of teachers or education programs for pre-teachers in teacher training institutions. Therefore, in this study, on-site status of image in elementary art education is researched and analyzed. Based on theoretic background of necessity of image education in art education, image related contents in current art textbooks are analyzed to find out how they are constructed in the textbooks for different grades. Also, in order to understand current conditions of image education on-site, elementary school teachers were surveyed to research experience of image education in education training institutions or training sessions, experience of image education related teaching in art classes, and recognition of teachers on image education and textbooks. The researched current conditions were analyzed to suggest desirable directions for image education.
