유아교사의 교수효능감, 긍정심리자본이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향: 성장마인드셋의 조절된 매개효과

The Relationship between Teacher Efficacy and Subjective Career Success with The Mediating Effect of Positive Psychological Capital and The Moderated Mediating Effect of Growth Mindset in Early Childhood Teachers

연구목적: 본 연구는 유아교사의 비인지적 요소인 성장마인드셋의 역할에 주목하여, 유아교사의 교수효능감, 긍정심리자본이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향을 조절하는지를 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 연구방법: 서울, 경기, 부산, 경북 등 유아교육기관에 근무하고 있는 유아교사 245명이며, 설문조사를 바탕으로 SPSS 21.0과 SPSS macro process 3.4 프로그램을 통해 조절된 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 연구결과: 유아교사의 성장마인드셋, 교수효능감, 긍정심리자본, 주관적 경력성공은 보통보다 높은 인식수준을 보였다. 유아교사의 성장마인드셋과 교수효능감, 성장마인드셋과 긍정심리자본, 성장마인드셋과 주관적 경력성공은 정적상관이 있었다. 유아교사의 교수효능감, 긍정심리자본이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향에서 성장마인드셋은 조절된 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 유아교사의 교수효능감은 긍정심리자본을 매개하여 주관적 경력성공을 증진하며 성장마인드셋은 교수효능감이 긍정심리자본에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 조절변인으로 역할을 하였다. 하지만 성장마인드셋이 낮을 때는 조절된 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 유아교사의 주관적 경력성공을 높이기 위해서는 교수효능감, 긍정심리자본에 대한 심리적 향상과 더불어 유아교사의 성장마인드셋 수준을 관리하기 위한 노력이 필요함을 시사한다.

Objective: This study was conducted to examine the effects of early childhood teachers teaching efficacy and positive psychological capital on subjective career success by moderated mediating effect of growth mindset in the noncognitive element of early childhood teachers. Methods: 245 early childhood teachers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Busan, Gyeongbuk province were surveyed about their teacher efficacy, subjective career success, positive psychological capital, and growth mindset. The results were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and SPSS macro process 3.4 program. The mediating, modulating, and moderated mediating effects were analyzed. Results: The results were as follows. First, early childhood teachers’ growth mindset showed significant positive correlation with teacher efficacy, subjective career success, positive psychological capital. Second, The results indicated that teacher efficacy predicted subjective career success not only directly, but also through positive psychological capital. In addition, Lastly, growth mindset relationship moderated the mediating effect toward positive psychological capital on the relationship between teacher efficacy and subjective career success; it also had a main effect on teacher efficacy toward subjective career success. Conclusions: We discussed the theoretical and practical implications of the results and presented its limitations as well as suggestions for future study.
