The purpose of this study is to develop STEM education program applied Problem-Based Learning learning model for the subject of Space Exploration and to analyze student’s attitudes toward science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The study topic of ‘space exploration’ was selected in the 2015 revised curriculum, and the two kinds of activities, ‘space exploration history table production’ and ‘soft landing space exploration ship’ were design. Developed STEM program was composed with 6 lessons and modified and supplemented based on eight experts content feasibility checks. The final STEM education program was conducted on 120 middle school students in Pohang. Data analysis analyzed the effects of changing attitudes toward science, technology, engineering, and mathematics before and after class by conducting a t-test before and after a same group. As a result, this STEM program had a positive effect on students attitudes toward science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and overall, it had a high effect on their abilities.
