포용성 관점에서의 박물관 도슨트의 역할

The Role of the museum docents in the perspective of Inclusion : Focusing on the my docent journal in Leeum(Samsung Museum of Art)

미술관 작품 감상을 할 때 주변에서 작품을 설명하는 것을 들은 적이 있었다. 나라면 저렇게 설명하지 않을 텐데 하는 마음에서 호암갤러리의 도슨트 담당자에게 연락하였고, 전시해설 도슨트 교육을 받고 2001년부터 도슨트 활동을 시작하였다. 전시교육은 특정전시를 1, 2개월 정도 배우고 전시장을 돌며 시연한 후, 이 시연에서 통과했을 때 전시설명 권한을 부여하는 것이었다. 첫 도슨트 설명은 조각가 최만린 전이었고, 이후에도 다양한 전시를 설명하였다. 이후 로뎅 갤러리 등에서도 도슨트 활동을 하였다. 특히 토슨트 활동 이후 각 도슨트들이 함께 교육내용을 복습하고 서로의 의견을 나눌 때 전시해설에서 많은 것을 배웠다.

I had an experience of hearing that someone interpreted art collection in museum. In that time I had some feeling of unsatisfying. So I called the docent manager of Ho-Am Art Museum, and got a docent education. Since year of 2001, I worked for museum docent. Docent education for museum exhibition was 1 or 2 months learning for specific exhibition. After that I was tested for interpretation for that exhibition, if I passed the test, I got the right of interpretation for that exhibition. My first docent interpretation was the Sculptor Choi, Manlin exhibition, and after that I was interpreted various exhibition. I had a docent experience in Leeum, Rodin Gallery etc. Especially I learned a lot from the peer docent when they share their docent experience.
