Due to stricter regulations on large exhaust gas and soot from heavy machinery used on land and ships used at sea, environmental regulations will be enforced from April 6, 2020, and various conventional generators and internal combustion engines will be used. Soot reduction methods are being researched and developed. As a result, in the case of newly registered equipment for newly manufactured ships, the standard IMO TIER 2 standard for exhaust gas can be applied for new registration, and design and installation are performed in accordance with the standard at the design stage. In the case of marine equipment that has already been used and registered, fines will be imposed if reduction measures such as emitted soot and PM are not taken, and if fines are imposed many times in developed countries overseas. Do not use after doing so. We are also implementing evacuation measures. Such a phenomenon occurs not only in Japan but also in several countries, and in the case of the jurisdiction of the United States, based on the IMO TIER 3 standard, EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) without an existing soot treatment facility )) If the soot of marine equipment is reduced, it is necessary to operate the scrubber device while operating in the waters under the jurisdiction of Hawaii and the United States to convert the smoke of black exhaust gas to white exhaust gas. As a result, through this study, the scrubber invented in this study emitted black smoke connected to a 2.1 MW class Hyundai Himsen (7H2533) medium speed generator that maintains the existing IMO TIER2 standard vessel inspection report. We will try to perform a simple inspection instead of white smoke, and strive to secure source technology by future marine emission regulations.
