몽골 유학생의 교우관계 및 문화적응 스트레스가 학교적응에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 재한 몽골인 유학생을 대상으로 교우관계와 문화적응 스트레스가 학교적응에 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위한 연구모형은 독립변수로 교우관계와 문화적응 스트레스, 종속변수로 학교적응, 통제변수로 성별, 연령, 유학형태, 수입, 한국어능력, 거주기간을 설정하였다. 본 연구의 최종분석은 한국에 소재한 10개 대학교에 유학 중인 몽골 유학생 총 122명이었다. 본 연구 결과, 몽골유학생의 학교적응에 대한 연구모형의 설명력은 47.2%로 나타났으며, 독립변수 중 몽골유학생의 교우관계는 학교적응에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으나 문화적응 스트레스는 학교적응에 유의하지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 몽골 유학생이 증가하고 있는 현실에서 본 연구 결과를 토대로 몽골 유학생의 한국 및 대학 적응력을 높이기 위한 실천적인 제언 및 시사점을 제시하였다.

This study examined the influence of the friendship and cultural adaptation stress of Mongolian students on their adaptation to universities in Korea. And study models are formed with control variables such as gender, age, type of studying abroad, incomes, ability of Korean and period of stay. This research was conducted with 120 students on-line survey and the result was examined with descriptive statistics, correlation and multi regression. The major findings of this study are as follows: there was found that 47.2% of Mongolian students’ school adaptation. Among independent variables it was revealed that statistically the variable, Mongokian students’ friendship, shows meaningful effects on adaptation to school. Based on this result, practical suggestion and implication were provided for university foreign students in Korea.
