공동체의식 함양을 위한 초등방과후 돌봄교실 운영 사례 연구

A case study on the operation of a care class after elementary school to foster community consciousness

본 연구는 공동체의식 함양을 위한 초등방과후 돌봄교실 운영 사례를 중심으로 진행한 연구이다. 초등방과후 돌봄교육은 정규수업 이후에 방과후 돌봄교육이 필요한 초등학생, 주로 맞벌이, 저소득층 및 취약계층 가정의 자녀들을 대상으로 보호와 교육을 제공한다. 본 연구 참여자는 13년-15년의 돌봄교사 경력자 3명과 1년이상 돌봄교실을 이용한 3명(2학년 남학생)의 학생을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 참여 및 조사기간은 2020년 9월부터 2020년 11월까지 진행되었으며, 연구 참여자의 의사를 최대한 반영하여 진행하였다. 연구결과, 돌봄교사는 돌봄교실 환경개선점과 역할갈등 부분 및 전문성 측면에 대한 의견이었으며, 돌봄교실 이용학생은 친구들과 놀이 그리고 휴식시간에 대한 불만족 의견과 돌봄교실의 다양한 활동에서 만족하다는 의견이 도출되었다. 본 연구를 통해 방과후 돌봄교실은 학생들이 단순히 머무는 곳 보다는 놀이와 휴식을 어울려져 정서적인 안정감을 제공할 필요가 있으며, 또한 다양한 학습적 욕구를 반영하여 보다 창의적인 상호작용이 이루어지도록 물리적, 인적인 환경이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

This study is a study focused on the case of operation of a care class after elementary school to foster a sense of community. After-school care education provides protection and education for children of elementary school students, mainly double-income, low-income and vulnerable families, who need after-school care education after regular classes. Participants of this study conducted in-depth interviews with 3 students with 13 to 15 years of experience as a caring teacher and 3 students (2nd grade male students) who used the care class for more than 1 year. The participation and investigation period was conducted from September 2020 to November 2020, and the intention of the research participants was reflected as much as possible. As a result of the study, the opinion of the caring teacher was on the improvement of the environment of the caring class, the role conflict, and the aspect of the professionalism. Through this study, the after-school care class is not a place where students simply stay. It is necessary to provide a sense of emotional stability by matching play and rest. Also, it is necessary to provide a more creative interaction by reflecting a variety of learning needs. The environment will have to be prepared.
