장애인의 경제활동상태에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구: 정신적 장애와 신체적 장애를 중심으로

Factors influencing the economic activity state of the people with disabilities: Focusing on mentalic and physical disabilities

본 연구는 제2차 웨이브 장애인 고용패널 4차 년도(2019년) 데이터를 활용하여 인구사회학적 특성, 인적자본, 심리적 자본, 사회적 자본이 정신적 장애인과 신체적 장애인의 경제활동 상태에 미치는 영향력을 검증하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 비경제활동 상태에 처한 장애인의 경제활동 상태로의 유인과 당사자의 어려움 지원 방안을 제시하는 데에 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 경제활동 상태 문항에 응답한 정신적 장애인 539명과 신체적 장애인 2,447명인 총 2,986명을 최종 분석대상으로 삼았으며, 다항로지스틱 분석방법을 활용하였다. 분석결과, 정신적 장애인의 경우 자기효능감, 자기낙인적 사고, 취업에 도움을 줄 사람 등이 경제활동상태에 유의하게 영향을 미쳤고, 신체적 장애인에서는 교육년수, 장애수용, 자기효능감, 자기낙인적 사고, 취업에 도움을 줄 사람, 가족관계만족도, 여가생활참여도 등이 경제활동상태에 유의하게 영향을 미쳤다. 연구결과 장애인의 경제활동 참여를 촉진하기 위해서는 개인적 특성에 맞는 직업교육 확대, 맞춤형 심리 개입, 재가 장애인을 대상으로 하는 고용 상담이 활성화되어야 한다.

This study examined the influence of demographic factors, human capital, psychological capital, and social capital on the economic activity state of mentally and physically handicapped persons using the 2019’s Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(PSED). Based on the results, the purpose is to suggest ways to induce people with disabilities from inactive economic activity to economic activity and to support the difficulties of the person concerned. In this study, 539 mentally handicapped persons and 2,447 physically handicapped persons were selected, and a multinomial logistic analysis method was used. As a result of the analysis, in the case of mentally handicapped persons, self-efficacy, self-stigmatizing thinking, and those who will help with employment have significantly influenced the state of economic activity. In the case of physically handicapped persons, people who will help with employment, family relationship satisfaction, and participation in leisure life significantly influenced the state of economic activity. As a suggestion, expansion of vocational education tailored to individual characteristics, customized psychological intervention, and employment counseling for people with disabilities at home should be activated.
