유아 융합교육(STEAM)을 위한 유아교사의 스마트 디바이스 적용에 대한 요구도 분석

Analysis of the Needs of Early Childhood Teachers for Smart Device Application for Young Children’s STEAM Education

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사들을 대상으로 유아 융합교육을 위한 스마트 디바이스를 적용에 대한 요구도를 조사하여 분석한 후 이를 토대로 유아교육의 융합교육의 활성화 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 이에 본 연구문제는 유아교사의 교육경력, 학력에 따라 유아 융합교육을 위한 스마트 디바이스 적용에 대한 요구의 차이가 있는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 부산, 대구, 경북지역 유아반 유아교사 279명을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0버전으로 빈도분석, Cronbach’a를 산출하였고, 교육경력 및 학력에 따른 요구도 차이를 알아보기 위해 일원배치 분산분석 후 사후분석으로 Scheffe, 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 유아교사의 교육경력에 따른 융합교육(STEAM)을 위한 스마트 디바이스 적용에 대한 인식 차이에 대해서는 스마트디바이스 적용의 목적에 대한 요구와 교사연수 회의에 대하여 유의미한 차이가 나타났다 학력에 따른 인식 차이 에 대해서는 스마트 디바이스 적용의 목적에 대한 요구, 교육애 대한 연구지원의 요구, 스마트디바이스 효과에 대한 요구의 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the demand for the application of smart devices for early childhood integrated STEAM education targeting early childhood teachers, then propose a plan to promote integrated STEAM education in early childhood education based on the analysis. As such, this study intended to examine whether there were differences in the demands for smart device application for integrated STEAM education according to the educational experiences and educational backgrounds of early childhood teachers. Frequency analysis was conducted with SPSS 22.0, with Cronbach’s α being calculated. An one-way layout analysis was performed after post-analysis to heck the differences in demand based on educational experience and educational backgrounds. The results of the study showed that there were significant differences in the demand for smart device application for integrated STEAM education according to the educational experience of early childhood teachers. Differences in STEAM education were also found in accordance to educational backgrounds, particularly in regards to the purpose of smart device application, research support for education, and demand for smart device effects. In reflection of the above research results, discussions were presented, and suggestions for subsequent research were presented.
