농촌체험관광마을 운영 참여자의 경험 탐색

Exploring the Experience of Rural Tourism Village : Focusing on Icheon Buraemi Village

본 연구는 농촌체험관광 사업을 20여 년간 장기적으로 운영 중인 이천시 부래미마을의 경험을 탐색하였다. 이를 위하여 질적연구방법 중 단일사례연구를 활용하였다. 자료는 문헌 자료, 웹사이트, 시청각 자료, 홍보 책자, 전단지, 행정문서 등을 수집하였고 심층 면접을 위해 개별인터뷰를 하였다. 또한, 10차례 현장을 방문하여 프로그램 운영과정을 직접 관찰하는 등 다양한 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 ‘마을 공동체 의식 강화’, ‘지속가능한 생태마을 조성’, ‘합리적 운영체계 구축’, ‘운영의 다양성 실현’의 4가지 범주로 분류되었다. ‘마을공동체 의식 강화’는 하위범주로 ‘주민들의 상호관계 증진’, ‘주민협력으로 공모사업 선정’으로 분류하였다. ‘지속가능한 생태마을 조성’은 ‘장기간 생태환경 보전’, ‘지역사회와 공존하는 마을 브랜드 구축’으로 분류하였다. ‘합리적 운영체계 구축’은 ‘체계적 마을 운영시스템 구축’, ‘공정한 분배시스템 구축’으로 분류하였다. ‘운영의 다양성 실현’은 ‘차별화된 프로그램’, ‘주민과 다양한 관계 증진’으로 분류하였다. 연구결과 ‘주민학습의 체계적 운영, 홈페이지 및 SNS를 활용한 다양한 홍보, 생태자원의 효율적인 운영, 체험프로그램의 품질관리, 소득의 공정한 분배시스템, 사례관리의 중요한 자원 활용’ 등이 필요하다고 제안하였다.

This study explored the experiences of Icheon Buraemi Village, which has been running a rural experiential tourism village for about 20 years. The analysis used a single case study among qualitative research methods. The data were collected literature, websites, audiovisual materials, promotional brochures, flyers, administrative documents, etc. and individual interviews were conducted for in-depth interviews. In addition, various data were collected and analyzed, including 10 visits to the site and direct observation of the program’s operation process. According to the analysis results, it was classified into four categories: ‘strengthening the sense of community in the village’, ‘creating a sustainable ecological village’, ‘establishing a reasonable village operating system’ and ‘realizing diversity in operation’. The subcategories of ‘strengthening the sense of community in the village’ were ‘promoting the interrelationship among residents’ and ‘inducing the external resources through cooperation of residents’. The subcategories of ‘creating a sustainable ecological village’ were ‘conservation of ecological environment accompanying harmony between man and nature’ and ‘building a brand of villages that coexist with the community resources’. The subcategories of ‘establishing a reasonable operating system’ were ‘establishment of a systematic village operation system’ and ‘Establishing a fair distribution system’. The subcategories of ‘realizing diversity in operation’ were ‘differentiated programs’ and ‘Building the networks with external entities by expanding boundaries’. Based on results of this study, in order to expand more meaningful rural experiential tourism village in the future, it was suggested that systematic learning programs for residents and various promotions using the homepage and SNS, efficient operation of ecological resources, quality management for the experiential programs, fair distribution system for the profits, and use of critical resources in case management.
