초등교사 임용시험 미술과 출제 문항 분석 및 개선 방안

A Study on the analysis and improvement of art-subject examination for employing elementary teachers

본 연구는 예비교사의 선발-교사양성교육-교사임용시험-교사재교육으로 이루어지는 일련의 과정 가운데 예비교사의 선발과 교사양성교육, 교사재교육에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 많으나 교사임용시험, 그 중에서도 초등교사 임용시험에 대한 연구는 그 수가 미미한 점에 주목하여 교사의 전문성 및 역할의 변화를 기대하며 수정되어 온 초등교사 임용제도와 임용시험 가운데 미술과에 중점을 두고 살펴보았다. 임용시험은 지속적으로 변화하는 교사양성교육기관의 교육과정을 담아낼 수 있어야 하며 초임교사로서의 전문성도 측정해야 하기 때문에, 해당 교과의 내용 지식에 근거하여 수업 과정, 수업 모형 및 전략, 학습자의 이해 등 교과 전문성 신장 등과 관련하여 출제되는 것이 일반적이다. 초등교사 임용시험의 출제 범위와 경향들은 예비교사양성교육과 차후의 학교 현장에서의 교수·학습에도 영향을 주게 된다는 점에서 문항 출제의 중요성이 대두된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등교사 임용제도와 임용시험, 최근 5년간 및 2009년부터 새롭게 적용된 2010학년도 초등교사 임용시험의 미술과 출제 문항을 분석해봄으로써 향후 해당 교과를 교수·학습하고 교사의 전문성을 신장시킬 수 있는 문항 개발을 위한 초석을 마련하는 데 의의를 두었다.

The purpose of this study was (1) to suggest a direction for the improvement of ‘The Korean National Teacher Certification Examination’ and its amendment system, (2) to analyze the current questionnaires of the examination in art subject, and (3) to search for better ways to improve the test system administered by the government. This study consisted of the quality and ability of elementary teachers in art subject, and the analysis of the employing examinations from recent 5 years of 2006-2010. The result of this study was summarized as follows: the teacher certification examination should reflect the entire contents of art curriculum for pre-service education for elementary schools; the questionnaires of the tests must be systematized structurally for checking item validity and item discrimination power; pre-service elementary teachers who studying art subject should be aware of the inclination of the changing tests and its system; and this study would be the basis for developing questionnaires of the examination in art subject.
