Method of Instruction and the Class for Character in Elementary Art

본 연구는 초등학교 학생의 발달단계에 합당한 자기 캐릭터 만들기의 수업 지도 방법을 개발하여 제사하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이는 초등학교 3-4학년 미술교과서에도 자기 캐릭터 만들기의 지도 방법이 제시되어 있지만, 보다 구체적이며 체계적인 수업 지도 방법을 개발하여 제시하는 데에 연구의 필요성과 교육적 의의가 있겠다. 본 연구에서 제시한 자기 캐릭터 만들기 수업 지도 방법은 첫째, 자기의 ‘성격 찾기’ - ‘외형의 모습의 특징 찾기’ - ‘취미 찾기’ 라는 3 종류의 내용을 선정했다. 둘째, 3종류의 내용을 보다 구체적인 항목으로 제시함으로써 자기 캐릭터에의 자기 동일화를 도모했다. 셋째, 취미 영역 중에서 두 개를 선정하여 캐릭터의 유형1과 유형2를 만들고, 그 취미 유형에 맞는 각각의 성격 찾기와 외형의 특징 찾기를 실시했다. 넷째, 글로 나타난 두 개의 자기 캐릭터의 유형을 각각 시각적으로 스케치하여 나타내도록 했다. 다섯째, 두 개의 캐릭터 중에서 하나를 선정해서 죄종적인 자기 캐릭터 만들기를 실시했다. 본 연구의 프로그램을 예비교사들을 대상으로 실시한 결과, 위의 프로그램에 따라 자기 캐릭터를 만들었으나, 특히 성격이나 외형의 특징의 내용보다도, 취미의 항목에서 보다 많은 내용을 모아서 하나의 자기 캐릭터를 만드는 경우도 나타났다. 이는 자기 캐릭터를 만드는 과정에서 취미의 항목들이 성격이나 외형의 특징을 포함하는 경우였다. 본 연구에서 개발하여 제시한 자기 캐릭터 수업 지도 방법은 학생들에게 될 수 있는 한 자기 캐릭터에의 자기동일화를 도모하였으며, 향후 학교현장에서 구체적이며 체계적인 수업 지도 방법의 하나로 활용될 가치가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to offer method in which one create self character in the stage of the elementary school students by developing instruction for the class. The instruction of creating self image is showed in the text book for 3rd- 4th grade but to develop more specific and systematic way of instruction is the necessity and the meaning of this study. The instruction of creating self character that this study offer chooses three kinds as follow; first, finding character, finding the distinction of appearance, and finding hobby. secondly, it trys to self idenfication by presenting the contents of the three more specifically. Thirdly, we picked two in the area of hobby and made pattern 1,and pattern 2, then we tried to find the each character and the distinction of the apparence. Fourthly, we sketched the two written pattern of the character in visualizing them. Fifthly, tried to choose the one out of two and determined it as self character. According to the result of the trial to the candidate teachers, although they made self character in this program but in some cases, in the area of hobby they put more contents and made one self character. The instruction of making character that is developed by this study for students intended to identify as could as possible ,later it is worth using as one of the specific and systematic method of the class.
