아동복지시설의 미술 수업에 대한 비평

The Criticism on an Art Class in the Child Welfare Center - Focusing on the Extended Arts and Culture Education

본 연구에서는 사회문화예술교육이 이루어지고 있는 아동복지시설의 미술 수업을 심층적으로 이해하기 위해서 수업 참관, 면담, 문서 분석 등의 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 사회문화예술교육의 현황과 아동복지시설 아동의 특징을 살펴보고 사회문화예술교육이 이루어지고 있는 현장에 대한 이해를 도모하고자 하였다. 또한 평생교육, 창의성, 문화적 문해, 문화적 역량, 문화 어울림이라는 사회문화예술교육에서 미술교육의 가치는 사회문화예술교육이 이루어지고 있는 현장을 이해하는 밑거름이 된다. 교육비평의 관점에서 미술 수업에 대한 심층수업 사례연구를 수행하고, 이를 통해 사회문화예술교육이 어떻게 계획되고, 실행되며, 어떠한 교육적 경험을 하는지 기술하고 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 아동복지시설의 미술 수업에서 유연한 교육과정, 자유로운 동시에 산만한 참여 방식, 학생들의 언행과 교사의 소극적 대처, 만화 영화와 문화 다양성이라는 특징을 찾아 볼 수 있었다.

This study is a qualitative inquiry that designs to understand the everyday world of art classes in a child welfare center to perform the Extended Arts and Culture Education. It inquires how the Extended Arts and Culture Education would be implemented, and also examines what children in the center could experience. It discusses about the significance of art education as the Extended Arts and Culture Education for facilitating flexible thinking and consilience in the future society, especially along with the issue of cultural literacy, cultural competence, creativity, lifelong education, cultural harmony. Based on the perspectives, I found out that the art education class in a child welfare center was characterized by the flexibility of curriculum, free and at the same time looseness in participation, the teacher s passive action on inappropriate speech and deed of students, and an animation movie and cultural diversity. This study will give an insightful implication for bringing into view the field of the Extended Arts and Culture Education.
